JAMILLAH: rising with courage

About the Program

Jamillah is a bold and inspiring program by Uzury Empowerment Hub for girls aged 13–17, focused on menstrual hygiene management, life skills, and self-confidence through storytelling, self-care, and theater arts. The program empowers girls with knowledge in SRHR, financial literacy, mental health, and leadership to reduce vulnerability to teenage pregnancy and help them make informed life choices. Participant-led and innovation-driven, Jamillah nurtures leadership, creativity, and community engagement. Through mentorship, interactive training, and the Jamillah Challenge, girls design real-life solutions to gender issues, preparing them to thrive in the future workforce and become powerful agents of change in their communities.
